In his illustrious career, Alonso played under Rafael Benitez, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola.
That’s given the Spaniard a sensational back catalogue of coaches to call upon in his own managerial career.
And Bild say that Alonso has a clause in his Leverkusen deal that would allow him to move to Liverpool.
His current contract expires in 2026, but Alonso has a clause that would allow him to join Liverpool, Bayern or Real Madrid should they come calling.
