Tottenham forward Manor Solomon is set to spend at least the next two months on the sidelines are suffering a serious knee injury.

It is reported that the winger injured his medial collateral ligament in training and will be out of action for a significant amount of time, in what is a big blow for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Over the next two months, Spurs face tough matches against Chelsea, Aston Villa, Manchester City and West Ham.

Their fixture list for October and November also features clashes with Luton, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Wolves.

Solomon only moved to north London over the summer on a free, following an impressive loan spell at Fulham from Shakhtar Donetsk last season.

So far, he has made six appearances for Spurs, recording two assists, though has only played 280minutes for his new club, with Son Heung-min, Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and Brennan Johnson ahead in the pecking order.

Nevertheless, his absence may hinder the Lilywhites as they enter a difficult period of the season, especially with forwards Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil currently on the sidelines.
