Hours after the Lagos State Police Command revealed that autopsy had been concluded on the remains of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, the decomposing corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.
The Police spokesman in Lagos State, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed on Thursday via a post on X, that the police are awaiting the result after the pathology examination was concluded.

The post read, ”The Nigeria Police Force wishes to inform the public that the autopsy procedure for Mr. Mohbad has been successfully completed. Further information will be provided as soon as the results are available”
Mohbad’s corpse being deposited at the mortuary came after the completion of the autopsy on his body after his remains were exhumed in the Ikorodu area of the state on Thursday.
Lagos State PPRO, Hundeyin, on Friday during a telephone interview with our Correspondent, said it has been deposited at the mortuary.
Hundeyin said, “It is at the mortuary.”
PUNCH Healthwise reported that the body of the late singer, who died on September 12, at the age of 27 years was buried on September 13.
With his death trailed by protests and wide outcry in Nigeria and across the globe, it was exhumed on Thursday, September 21, for the autopsy.
