The Katsina State government has allocated N761 million for the construction of a new dialysis centre at the Amadi Rimi General Hospital in the state.
The commissioner for health, Dr Bashir Saulawa, revealed this while addressing journalists after the state executive council meeting presided over by Governor Umar Dikko Radda yesterday.
He said the state would also spend N599.9m to upgrade the Faskari Comprehensive Health Centre to the status of a general hospital.
“This significant investment in healthcare infrastructure signifies the commitment of the Katsina State government to the well-being and development of residents of the state,” he said.
