Manchester United Women will lock horns with their Liverpool counterparts behind-closed-doors on Wednesday in preparations for the new Barclays Women’s Super League campaign.
Although the fixture will be played behind closed doors at the United training ground, it will be a first opportunity for fans to watch the team play live this pre-season and gain a closer look at how Marc Skinner’s Reds are shaping up for the new campaign.
That includes a chance to see the summer signings in action, as they gear up to make their competitive debuts for the club when the 2023/24 season starts.
Wednesday’s meeting with Merseyside rivals – and fellow Women’s Super League club – will mean contests between the sides have taken place in each of the last four pre-seasons.
