Veteran Afromusic musician and pianist, Duro Ikujenyo is marking his 67thbirthday with a show at Bogobiri on September 2.
The music producer, recording artiste and former pianist for Fela and the Egypt 80 Band thanked God for the gift of life, his new age and life’s accomplishments.
“I have been working for the past 40 years and have experienced and learnt a lot in life. God is good to me. Duro Ikujenyo and The Age of Aquarius will be performing at Bogobiri, Ikoyi, and we shall be unveiling surprises along with my trending album, ‘Black and Oha Soup’. Life is good and we should celebrate life to the full and do good.”
The musician further took the time to advice the Nigerian government to lead the people with the fear of God, and create a conducive environment for the people to thrive.
Ikujenyo who has four albums to his name, produced the late Fatai Rolling Dollar ‘Kere Si Number’ and documented different music milestones including the evolution of music and Afrobeat in Nigeria.
