BRITS heading abroad to soak up the last bit of summer sunshine have been warned of another killer heatwave.
Italian authorities have triggered a red alert as multiple cities are set to see steamy temperatures in the coming days.

Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Florence, Frosinone, Latina, Palermo, Perugia, Rieti, Rome, Turin and Verona have had a red alert instated today.
Beginning on Wednesday, Genoa, Milan, Naples, Trieste and Venice will be under a red alert as well.
The mercury is set to hit 40C in some of Italy‘s biggest cities, and the heat could see the most vulnerable age groups affected.
Red alerts mean all people should stay indoors and out of the sun between 10am and 6pm to avoid heat stroke and other heat related maladies.
The latest heatwave comes just over a month after killer heat wave Cerberus left three dead with temperatures topping 48C.
The extreme weather caused the death of a 44-year-old man who collapsed while painting a zebra crossing in Milan at 40C.
He was rushed to the hospital but could not be saved.
While two brothers, aged six and seven, died after they jumped into a reservoir in Manfredonia in southern Italy, reportedly to cool down.
The highest recorded temperature in Italy- and Europe- was a scorching 48.8C in Sicily in August 2021.
Weather experts have declared 2023 an El Niño year – a natural phenomenon that occurs cyclically and causes fluctuations in the global climate.
The UN’s World Meteorological Organization said it will raise temperatures around the world, and the effect is likely to continue for the rest of the year.
Meanwhile, another woman shared her hot weather tip on TikTok claiming it makes your home five to 10 degrees cooler.
Lacy J (@lacyjsprettylilthings3.0) posted a video of herself outside prepping her home for the heatwave in a video on TikTok.
“I can always tell who’s from here and who’s not from here by the way they look at me when I water my roof during a heat advisory,” the text read.
In the video, she sprayed her rooftop using a water hose from her deck.
“Life hack, easiest way to cool your house down another five or 10 degrees.
“Put some water on the roof. As the water evaporates it takes the heat with it, essentially kind of like your skin does with sweating,” she added in the caption.
The video drew in many viewers who shared their thoughts in the comment section.
“My neighbors be looking at me like [side-eye emoji],” one wrote. “But it works.”
“My neighbors, too,” Lacy replied. “Like hey don’t knock it till you rock it.”
