Iranian drones & speedboats ‘swarm US warship & force helicopters to land’ in chilling clash in Strait of Hormuz

BOMBSHELL footage has emerged of a US warship being swarmed by Iranian drones and speedboats, which forced their helicopters to land.

The chilling confrontation between the helicopter carrier and Iran’s navy took place in the tension-heavy Strait of Hormuz in the Persian Gulf recently.

The US Navy arrived in the Middle East last week as part of a pre-announced deployment to support deterrence efforts in the Strait of Hormuz.

“As we have been for a very long time, we’re coordinating with our partners in the region when it comes to U.S. military presence because, again, it’s not just the U.S. military that’s out there patrolling commercial shipping lanes.

“We’re working as part of a broader coalition … on that effort,” Air Force press secretary Pat Ryder said.

Iran’s navy released the footage on Saturday of the US Bataan warship passing through the strait.

Iranian media claims that their aggressive efforts forced US helicopters to land back on the carrier by sending warnings, drones and speedboats.
