MOISES CAICEDO suffered ‘one of worst 20 minute debuts ever’ as Chelsea slumped to defeat at West Ham.
The Blues made the Ecuadorian midfielder the Premier League’s most-expensive player when they forked out £115m to Brighton for him this week.

However, despite the 21-year-old only being named on the bench today, his cameo off it in the second half ended in disaster as his team were beaten 3-1 by West Ham.
Caicedo replaced Ben Chilwell in the 61st minute of the clash, just seconds after Michail Antonio had restored the home team’s lead.
Nayef Aguerd had headed West Ham in front early on before Carney Chukwuemeka levelled it.
Enzo Fernandez then blew the chance for Chelsea to go in front when his penalty was saved by Alphonse Areola moments before half time.
Antonio powered through the defence and drilled home for the Hammers on 58 minutes before Britain’s most-expensive footballer entered the fray.
But Caicedo struggled to make any impact, despite the fact that Aguerd was sent-off on 67 minutes to leave their opponents with a man disadvantage.
And things got even worse for the South American as the match entered additional time when his nightmare got even worse as he gave away a penalty.
West Ham’s Emerson slid the ball past him inside the area, and Caicedo “lazily” stuck out a leg to bring the wing-back down.

And that allowed Lucas Paqueta to step up and secure the 3-1 win.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher said: “Moises Caicedo has had a nightmare since coming on. It is a poor lazy challenge.”
The not-so-forgiving Twitter exploded after witnessing Caicedo’s shaky debut in Blue, and he might be best advised to keep off social media for the next few days.
“Caicedo has just put in one of the worst 20 minute debut performances ever,” wrote one fan.
“Could barely find a team-mate and kept giving it away! Then a penalty. Hilarious.”
Another tweet read: “£115m Caicedo, giving a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘costly penalty’.”
“Caicedo with the nightmare debut for Chelsea and a 115m price tag hanging over his neck like a ball and chain,” wrote a fellow viewer.
A fellow fan said: “What an awful performance from the most expensive midfielder of all times Caicedo.”
While despite the horror show, at least one supporter still has faith, tweeting: “Awful debut Caicedo. A lot of mistakes, but I believe in him to be the best DM in the world.”
