PUTIN’S boffins have reportedly developed a chilling invisibility cloak to allow Russian soldiers to disappear on the battlefield.
Technicians at the RKhBZ Military Academy have apparently created and trialled a new fabric which can help troops evade detection by thermal imaging devices.

The unnerving development was reported by state-owned media outlet RIA Novosti this afternoon.
Materials from the developer were quoted as claiming that the “cape” could block opposing forces and drones from using infrared tech to determine Russians‘ positions.
The fabric is said to consist of three layers.
One reflects the heat produced by the wearer’s body, while another absorbs heat to prevent it from escaping the garment and a third blocks out the heat from the atmosphere.
Thermal images use infrared radiation to detect the heat emanating from targets, allowing troops to spot enemies hidden behind natural cover.
Sources told the outlet: “A cape for a serviceman has been developed and experimentally evaluated, which makes it possible [for a soldier] to completely hide his trace from the operation of thermal imagers or drones with thermal imaging cameras.”
The report added: “Together with a cape made of material, a hood was developed with special goggles protected from thermal imaging reconnaissance equipment.
“Its use will allow the soldier to conduct surveillance without being noticed.”
The news comes after reports of China developing a similar kind of “invisibility cloak” that can block the wearer from security cameras and even fool AI.
However, as it comes from a Kremlin-loyalist publication, Russia’s discovery of this sort of tech is yet to be independently confirmed.
Elsewhere in Russia, two top generals died mysteriously after falling out with tyrannical Mad Vlad.
Gennady Zhidko, who was previously in charge of the brutal invasion of Ukraine, died after a “lengthy illness” (according to loyalist media), though he had all but disappeared from the public eye in recent months.
Just days earlier Gennady Lopyrev passed away suddenly in jail just as he became eligible for parole.
Prison doctors claimed the cause was previously undiagnosed leukaemia, but speculation has run rife that he was poisoned on the eve of his potential release.
He had been jailed in 2017 after being convicted of bribe-taking by a military court – which he always denied.
