The governors of the five South East states are currently meeting at the Lion Building Enugu State Government House, Enugu.
The meeting which started after noon has all five governors, Sen Hope Uzodimma of Imo State (Chairman); Prof. Chukwuma Solido, Anambra; Dr Alex Otti, Abịa; Chief Francis Nwifuru, Ebonyi and Dr Peter Mbah, Enugu (host), in attendance.
The governors who were received at the Government House by their host, Mbah, are expected to deliberate on issues of insecurity, the sit-at-home menace which has dwindled the economy of the region.
They are expected to receive the nation’s Service Chiefs later in the day for a joint security meeting on possible ways of curbing insecurity in the South East zone.
