From Noah Ebije, Kaduna

The Concerned Northern All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Forum has expressed excitement over the appointment of the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, David Nweze Umahi as one of the ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet.

To this end, the youth forum expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for listening to their prayers by appointing Umahi to occupy a ministerial position.

In a statement on Saturday, while appreciating what he called a well-thought-out gesture by Mr President, Hon Suleiman Liba who is the leader of the Forum, said President Tunubu has once again kept his word when he promised to bring on board individuals, “who have the requisite experience and know-how, people who can hit the ground running for speedy and purposeful developmental strides”.

“We want to say unequivocally that the choice of Engr. Dave Umahi is one of such individuals with the requisite experience, and Mr President will live to be proud of this decision”, Hon Liba said.

Liba further added, “President Tinubu, since the assumption of office on May 29th, has been apt with his decision-making in all spheres of governance and this nomination is a further testament to his strong will to ensure that the project Nigeria is a big success under his administration.

“Mr President has our full backing at the Concerned Northern APC Youth Forum, so long as he continues to take decisions that are for the betterment of our dear country Nigeria.

“The leadership that Nigeria and Nigerians yearn for is here with us and it is evident in the policies and decisions of this administration so far, there are better days ahead no matter what we are facing at the moment, it is only temporary as this government is working her heart out to ensure we can be proud to be called Nigerians.”
