Man Utd vs Lyon preview
Manchester United are back in pre-season action against French outfit Lyon.
The Red Devils opened their preparations with a 2-0 victory over Leeds in Norway last week, and Murrayfield in Scotland hosts today’s contest.
Plenty of the first-team starters are still absent despite the likes of Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro having returned to training.
Erik ten Hag does, however, have some fresh options for his starting XI.
Antony and Donny van de Beek have both made the trip to Scotland, along with fit-again Fred. Summer signing Mason Mount is in line to make his second appearance, having impressed during his maiden outing.
Jonny Evans could also be involved after returning to the club on a short-term deal for pre-season.
Lyon have a few familiar names on show, most notably manager and ex-United legend Laurent Blanc and former Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Erik ten Hag will likely field his strongest XI in the opening 45 minutes of this clash with the likes of Mason Mount, Jadon Sancho, Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez expected to start.
