Jordan Henderson drops huge hint he’s made Saudi transfer decision as Liverpool squad for pre-season friendly emerges

JORDAN HENDERSON has been left out of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool squad ahead of Wednesday’s pre-season friendly against German side Karlsruher.

The 33-year-old is currently considering a move to the Saudi Pro League, with a huge contract offer from Steven Gerrard’s Al-Ettifaq on the table.

He was offered a staggering deal worth £700,000-a-week earlier this month.

And his absence from the Liverpool squad suggests that he is seriously considering a move.

The Reds are demanding £20million for their club captain, who has two years remaining on his contract.

Liverpool bid farewell to Roberto Firmino, Naby Keita, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at the end of last season.

They were quick to acquire two midfield replacements in Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai, but three more players – including Henderson – are now said to be on the verge of leaving.

Fabinho is edging closer to a move to the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Ittihad are reportedly lining up a £40million bid for the Brazilian, who has also been left out of the squad.

And Barcelona want to re-sign Thiago Alcantara.

Liverpool are willing to entertain reasonable offers for the Spaniard, who has less than one year remaining on his current contract.

Sofyan Amrabat, Ryan Gravenberch, Kalvin Phillips and Romeo Lavia are reportedly being considered by Klopp as potential replacements for the outgoing midfielders.
